Southwestern Motif Which Will Not Become Passe
Certain furniture periods come and go. There is a way, however, that one can enjoy the furniture period that makes them happy, and still not have it become passe. These clients requested a Southwestern Motif.
To achieve their desire, Ronald Piper A.S.I.D. preplanned the following. Firstly, the sofa seating,, in very light southwestern colors, was placed on a 45 degree angle. Only the ottoman in its simplicity had the southwest flavor in its designed pleats. |

Tumbling Tumbleweeds
The accessories, however, were definitely more southwestern than any other feeling.
The curly willow corner arrangement represented the dry tumbleweed found in the plains. This was kept in a neat fashion planted in a large southwestern planter.
The custom area rug reintroduced southwestern designs. Although in good taste, this was the strongest influence brought into this modified eclectic-southwestern living room. This has kept the clients happy in the environment they requested and yet they never became bored or felt that their decor was out of style.
Ronald's interpretation of southwestern can never be considered as trendy. It's a real keeper.

Cocktail TableAnd Wall System
The glass-top cocktail table with a clear lucite base once again showed no noticable signs of the period, with the exception of the accessories placed upon it.
The wall system, likewise, Ronald Piper designed in a simple curvaliniar fashion denoting no specific style other than contemporary.
